    HEALING
An interesting introduction to the topic of healing is to consider
the word "heal" as a verb. In this sense,
it can mean to restore connections.
As a noun, then, healing would become
a study of connecting, disconnecting, and or reconnecting.

Connecting, disconnecting, or reconnecting from or to what,
for what reason or to establish what goal would then become
the focus of our thinking.
There is great complexity concerning the study of healing.
This complexity has led to a proliferation of healing techniques
and schools to teach those techniques.
This volume of the Journal of Two Worlds
has as its major goal a simplification of the varied
approaches to the subject of healing.
We will peruse the ancient and current literature,
addressing our findings in the articles that follow.
We will seek to find commonalities among the varied approaches
using the verb "heal" as a study in connection.
We hope that our attempt will bring some degree of clarity
to the very complex topic of Healing.
